Back then, I was living in Moldova, doing an internship in Belgium, dreaming of my own studio… The pandemic changed everything — but it didn’t break me. I moved to Belgium and started over — one class, one step at a time. Now I teach Zumba for women who, like me once, are searching for reconnection with their bodies, their joy, their true selves
I’ve always believed in a healthy lifestyle and movement that feels good — Not out of guilt, not from pressure, but for joy, energy, freedom. And for almost 10 years now, my main source of that energy has been Zumba.
A huge part of that was thanks to my first instructor: Vladimir Shendrea. So much passion, charisma, and real love for the dance. Because of him, I didn’t just love Zumba — I dared to dream bigger. In 2020, I completed my training and became a certified instructor.
Like many, I started out of simple curiosity. I came to my first class, a little nervous, not knowing what to expect. But then the music started — and something clicked. I felt: this is it. This is ME. It wasn’t just fun — it felt like a return to myself.
